I have dry skin that is itchy red and scaly on my legs and knees both of them. It’s the heat that makes it the worst right now. You just have to keep moisturizing with lotions.. I like coconut lotion or oil I use a lot

I found that spa socks (with gel silicone) and also silicone heel sleeves from Amazon worked great. The sock and sleeves really help to keep the moisture in. My derm had recommended that I use saran wrap after I put my topicals on, but this is a much better method and my derm is fine with it. I put my topicals on first and then the socks or sleeves. Both are difficult to walk in, so I use when I am just sitting. You can put sock over the sleeves, but it is still a bit slippery. Both of these have help me keep my heels moist. You will need to make sure that heat/moisture/silicone don't cause you inflammation but both have really helped me.
