Newly diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and am also having some eye concerns that could be connected to PA. Wondering if anyone here has heard of uveitis and what treatment was taken. I also have rare autoimmune disorder called hypogammaglobulinamenia which adds just a "small" twist to the situation.
Thanks all for comments. Seems I have osteoporosis, rather widespread but not psoriatic arthritis although I've had psoriasis for years. Still having eye concerns but is likely unrelated to any arthritis.
Sorry your having problems with your eyes I never have take care xxxx
Uveitis were my first symptoms of my issues. I had that in each eye, sometimes at the same time, for 2.5 years. I had prednisone drops multiple times a day + dilating drops. Its not fun at all! If you haven't already, find a good MD eye doctor. I was seeing mine about 2 - 3 times a month, depending on the current state of my issues.
Since being diagnosed with PsA, my medication seems to have the uvietis under control.
I have psoriatic arthritis but I don't have any problems with my eyes. I'm sorry you do. Take care xxxx
Some of the medications can affect eyesight, so it might be useful to talk with your pharmacist, then our prescribing doc.
