I find Vaseline intensive care extra strength works to calm skin

I use cold pressed coconut oil. The boil water for a homemade remedy tea. I use ginger garlic and turmeric. I use a cheese grater to grate some of each into my boiling water. Pour over a strainer into cup and sip. It won't give you immediate results but it is a natural way to put the fire out. I drink a cup a day to keep the flares at bay. Good luck !

I've been using vaseline. Nothing else seems to work. Today is my dermatologist appointment. Yeah!!!!

Just plain old vaseline after a cool bath in bath oil (or any petroleum jelly TBH, Boots own brand is far cheaper than Vaseline)
