I follow a "Jason Vale" juicing programme (He had bad psoriasis and now is about 95% clear I believe ), I am also gluten free, very little dairy and no red meat. For whatever reason my psoriasis is now well controlled and I am not on any prescription drugs.

I just watched a youtube video and thw guy had been covered with psoriasis. He began an anti inflammatory diet, taking vitamin D and vitamin C and had amazing results. It is very strict, just lean meats and vegetables. No Sugar, gluten, alcohol or even fruits. after 3 weeks you can eat fruit with a low glucose level and then after 6 weeks you can eat a serving or two a day of whole grains. I am starting this on Monday, so we shall see. Hoping for results...

My daughter suffers terribly with psoriasis. She is a young lady with Down Syndrome. I try to keep her clear of dairy & gluten and little red meat or sugar. We once got rid of it for 2 years through nutrition and homeopathy but I find stress is a terrible trigger and with that and her @diet lapsing because of job rotation at an independent living course it's flared up badly again. We've now become much stricter with food and I've been juicing for her. Mainly green leafy stuff, cucumber, cellery, kale spinach, carrot, beetroot and a little fruit for flavour. We are also taking her for photo therapy which has been remarkable in just 2 weeks. I definitly do notice a major difference with stress and foods. At the moment we've made fairly good progress with no cortisone at all. Here's hoping we beat it. I really do have such enormous compassion for anyone who suffers with it. It's a nasty damn ailment and one has to really be vigilant.

Yes, foods definitely affect my P and PA. Acidic foods even acidic fruits can. These are my triggers. Wheat products, alcohol, oranges and tomatoes, sweets like pastries donuts and such, Preservatives like salt, white sugar and all cooking oils except coconut oil dont help. i like to stick with Bananas, dates and water smoothies, papaya and pawpaws are nuetrals. I rarely get a flare up anymore except mild scalp flares mostly from stressful thinking or obsessive thinking so often meditive times to keep a calm state of mind. i like to go around bare foot as much as possible incase earthing works as shoes hurt. Castor oil is my skin calmative which seems to work better than others used often. Now if i can work on my other chronic health issues as effectively. hope this helps others. cheers

Everyone is different and is affected differently . Either your P is manageable or not . Over the years I found different things help at times .. but eventually your body adapts and you start over . Diet, stress etc. are all factors but they important in a normal healthy life anyways . Experiment it doesn't hurt , just remeber there is no cure for now so don't fret it so much .. so I agree eat drink and be merry..
