Why is it so darn expensive. I can't afford it and this is what my RA wants me on. Told him no because the $4,000.00/month copay will not work on my SSD check.
Cimzia could not help. I couldn't even use the 50.00 co-payment card. But what I did find out that if the doctor ordered it as a powder to be mixed and is injected by an infusion center - all is paid for. It also helped that I signed up for financial assistance and was able to get 40% off everything. I think I have paid 122.00 towards my shots that I have received every month since October. It just kills me that patience's have to fight to get everything. Best part is the shoots are still working and I feel great. No flair ups since last year.
I'm really glad that it is helping me. Another thing I did was to start swim exercise program twice a week at the YMCA. keeps the muscles and joints moving like they should or I wouldn't be doing the yard and garden work.
Glad its helping and that you have an option that is cost effective option for you!
