Diet

Diet

Was curious if a certain diet has helped your psoriasis?

A MyPsoriasisTeam Member said:

Yes, Avoiding gluten, dairy and night shades, sugar and carb has help me clear my psoriasis. 80% alkaline diet and 20% carb and acidic food. Thats has helped me control it .
I learned from my research that healing intestine and gut helps with inflammation and psoriasis.

The more I stay away from wheat products, the better I feel. I also experience flare ups if I drink soda or eat potato chips. Look into the idea of reducing night shade vegetables in your diet. Lots of people with autoimmune disorders have sensitivities to them.

Some people say no sugar, some get results with 90%-100% percent fruit diet. I think the connection to diet is only inflammation, nutrient balance, and any sensitivities your particular body has.
