One of the first places I break out with psoriasis is my right eyelid/in eyes. The rest of me is very well controlled with Xeljanz and Avara. But my eyes!!! My rheumatologist told me to consult with dermatologist but, since it’s eyes, I am thinking she will only send me to my awesome ophthalmologist. Anyone have this issue and, if so, who treated it and with what? Thank you.
I have it on my eyelids also. I haven't been to a specialist yet, but PCP has always told me to sparingly use low dose hydrocortisone ointment every other day. I have more peeling the next day, same with my ears, but it does help with itching.
Dexamethazone is very good for that. Both me and my husband use it. It's very important to control the activity around your eyes.
I haven’t had any trouble like that. Hope you get it cleared up.
