Where I live the nearest dermatologist is hours away. Tanning beds help but I would like to have something more convenient at home.
Try vasaline..... not too thick of a layer but it helps it to stay moist so it doesnt crack and hurt. Also i found banana peels help you just rub the moist side of the peel on your psoriasis and leave it or aloe, you can use the gel bought in the store like for sunburns but fresh from a plant is even better just open a small piece of it and rub it on. These are just some natural home remedies i found very helpful while i wasnt on any medication
Yes it helped me along with a good moisturizer and epsom salt soaks
I looked into an at home phototherapy box because I was going to the derma 3 times a week for treatment. Biotek (check it out on line) sells an at home portable UVB light box. My dermatologist (she is the study doctor) suggested I get into a double blind cream study saying it was safer. Need to have a dermatologist or other doctor write a prescription in order to purchase the UVB box. I still think it is a good alternative to doing the one hour round trip drive 3 times a week for UVB or laser treatment.
