Where I live the nearest dermatologist is hours away. Tanning beds help but I would like to have something more convenient at home.
Try vasaline..... not too thick of a layer but it helps it to stay moist so it doesnt crack and hurt. Also i found banana peels help you just rub the moist side of the peel on your psoriasis and leave it or aloe, you can use the gel bought in the store like for sunburns but fresh from a plant is even better just open a small piece of it and rub it on. These are just some natural home remedies i found very helpful while i wasnt on any medication
I had worked with Dr and light co: Daavlin to get the series 7 home phototherapy light box. My insurance paid all of it (approx $5K). I have not gone back to clinic phototherapy since. I had spent the last 20 years doing clinic UVB 3x week
Do you order on-line? I'm no longer doing light treatments. I developed cancer on the back of my hand and decided to find other ways to treat my psoriasis. I order Lucraderm Natural Psoriasis Thereapy from Youth Farm to use in a smoothy daily. I use Manuka Honey Cream by Wild Naturals on my hands and soles of my feet. I moisterize morning and night. Consistency helps alot. I have been pleased with the results. Less redness. less itching.
