Thyroid & Endocrinologist
Hi Beautiful People,
In addition to plaque psoriasis, I have an under-active thyroid. I have my first appointment with an endocrinologist coming up.
Has anyone else seen an endocrinologist, and if so, has their assistance inadvertently (or purposefully) helped clear your skin?
Are there questions I should be asking?
I just see my family Doctor for my thyroid. I also have low thyroid. I have been taking Levothyroxine for over 15 years. I know when it changes because I get hot flashes, dizziness, and low on energy. They usually check mine yearly or every six months if I am having any symptoms. I was diagnosed with psoriasis and PSA in April I think. Good luck.
My thyroid is under active I take thyroid medication 1st thing every morning and then you must wait an hour to eat. They will most likely test you and adjust you if needed the first 3 to 6 months . Good luck better under than over active❣
I have both and interested in your appointment outcome? Share if you feel like it.
I’m sorry I have no experience in this. Hopefully someone on here can help. Take care
