Best of luck with your Rheumatologist... Prednisone is just to reduce inflammation but sometimes necessary... Ask your Rheumatologist about anti inflammatory diets, supplements, Biologics and then do some research to make an informed decision.

Start by asking if steroids work for Ps in most cases? The answer is no. It is rare for us that it does but will for other disease we may also have (comorbidity). Steroids aren't really a treatment for disease but for symptoms. Ask how they actually intend to treat your illness.

Pasty, ask your doctor about an anti-inflammatory diet.

I have avoided methotrxate too.....
