Pea Size Dots Appearing.

A MyPsoriasisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Driffield, UK

Hi. Thanks for joining me. I have grown up with psoriasis and since been in my early 20's managed with it. But due to covid 19 and not going on 3 usual holidays in the Caribbean a year, I haven't had no sun. Now I have pea soze dots appearing over my legs and a few on my arms.
What should I do please?.

If its wee dots they call it here raindrop psoriasis . But its usually pustular psoriasis. I think youd need to see someone as it can get pretty bad. How are you now ?Have you ever been on the biological drugs? Definitely need to moisterise lots more and take antihistamines to stop you scratching and make it worse. X

Hope you have found relief. When my psoriasis was under control for about 8 years I used a bath emulsion called
Cu-tar it works wonders. Add 1-2 oz to warm (not too warm) bath and soak for 20-30 min. I am using it now as well during a severe flare to help with scaling and itch. I also use coconut oil to soothe in addition to Vaseline moisturizer. Awaiting insurance to Pre auth Stelara as a last resort. But if you can manage more naturally, I feel it’s better. Just keep close eye on the progression. Psoriasis is so much more than just what you see, we must take care of the systemic inflammation which is at the core. Best of luck!

Make sure you are using mild products for showering and laundry etc. Use a thick moisturizer, coconut/olive oil, Vick’s, Vaseline something to keep the moisture in. Hope you get some relief

Have you looked into phototherapy as a replacement for tropical trips?
