I’m newly diagnosed and have a lot to learn. I’m in a flare up now and in general my whole body is a little tender . But my chest is more so to where I’m nervous maybe something else is going on as well. I’m having to use creams, cbd oil, and ice packs to help with the pain. Just need to verify that this is psoriasis related
This has happened to me. If I get really sweaty and my bra rubs against the skin under my breasts. Don’t know if it is inverse psoriasis or just irritation. Either way, very painful. Have to keep area clean, moisturized (I use polysporin) and pack the area with cotton pads. I am bra intolerant now. Found True & Co lounge bras at Target. Lifesavers.
I am going through this now, I don't wear bras of any kind anymore, how does anybody keep it dry under there it is an open cut, it hurts to just lift my arms. What creme or ointments work?
I was diagnosed with inverse psoriasis. I started out with psoriasis behind my ears during my early 20's and the dermatologist prescribed Kenalog ointment. I put it behind my ears and the next morning it was almost healed and it didn't sting the hurt was gone. I've looked all over the web for it. It has to be dark yellow and an ointment. It doesn't sweat off. I've never used it under my breasts.
Hi. I’m actually going through this right now. It’s so tender under my breasts and creams don’t work. Also, it’s an open wound so its liquidy puss which makes it worse because it hurts when my clothes gets stuck to my skin.
First of all, I had to find another Dermatologist. I live in a smaller town. So I went into Seattle for a second opinion and bingo! I have an excellent Dermy now! After a steroid shot so I wouldnt hurt, I again resumed the Nystatin/ Clobetasol ointments. I have Psoriasis under my breasts and above my abdomen in a crease thats hard to get better. I have Plaque Psoriasis between my butt checks and I use the same ointments. The thing that I came to realize is that I have to be diligent. For me, that doesnt mean washing and irritating these areas several times a day. They are already raw. Theres no need to hurt yourself more. So this is what I do. I bought antibacterial wipes from a supplies store and the pads as well. I wash the areas with the wipes gently. They dont sting at all. At night when Im ready for bed, I take my ointments and apply to my sore areas. Then I cover them with a cotton pad from Always they have many sizes to fit most everyone. Then I hop into bed. The next day I check it to see how its doing. Its not a miracle cure but if you keep up with it you will notice the difference day by day. Always keep your hands clean. You can use the wipes for that. We dont want any bacerial infections. Its so easy to get an infection and it delays you from making any headway. Because this hurts so much, its my number one priority. When Im out of pain I can think about other more enjoyable things like my garden. I hope this helps someone. Pauline
