I bought a $300 home use hand held UV wand and used it for a month. I noticed marginal improvement, but not enough for the 15 min it took to administer each day.

I’ve been receiving phototherapy for several months...both the laser on specific areas, (fingernails, ears, scalp) and the booth/cabinet for my back. It goes very quickly, painless...and, hopefully, successful!....I wear safety goggles into the booth...and always put the fan on for the heat generated by the lights...I’m up to about a minute and a half each session. I hope that this can help you a little...and might lessen your anxiety. Deep breaths..hang in there...take care!...oh, and I found the nurses to administer the treatment to be such blessings...kind, supportive and knowledgeable!...a plus!

Light treatment is kind of like using a tanning bed. Anxiety is not easy to get through but just breathe. We’re here for you and if we can help just ask. Take care
