Wrote steriod shampoo scripts. Seemed much more interested in getting me on accutaine. Which i wish i did not do. It changed my skin completely. No biopsy for me localized to my scalp. I had been diagnosed with eczema, only went to her for mole check. She took one look at my scalp, said that’s not eczema. Couple years later she strongly advised Rheum consult. I thought it ridiculous. Diagnosed after tests to be PsA. Kinda weird how it all tyrned out for me. I took a leap of faith and now take the biologic with the scary side effects. Another little mouse in the science experiment. 😊

Do you have any patches or lesions elsewhere on your body or pitted nails? In my case my Rheumatologist did a visual exam and bloodwork. Mine was pretty cut and dry with plaques on elbows and some on lower calves. My main issues were joint inflammation, swelling, pain etc ( so the bloodwork was necessary to diagnose PSA along with physical findings)
I hope you are able to get the answers and treatment that works best for you...
