A couple years back I had a flare-up behind my ears and the back of my scalp. It was like the worst most painful dandruff imaginable.

I have a small spot on my ear. The one spot on my scalp & the spot behind my ear that I’ve had for years went away.
My joints hurt painfully though.

I have had patches on my face. I would caution against applying ANY topical steroids to your face. I did this and have been battling perioral dermatitis ever since - a side effect of steroids used on the face. Any skin rash in the mouth area could be perioral dermatitis, in which case topical antibiotics, antifungals, or zinc oxide could be helpful. You'd need to see a derm for the antibiotics. Good luck and please try not putting steroids on your face!!!

I was just diagnosed with psoriasis (nail) but now I wonder if when I had a horrible flare on my mouth a couple of months ago, which was told to be dermatitis, wasn’t, in fact, psoriasis. 🤔
