I also use to take hot showers until I developed eczema, 40 years ago. I couldn't Evan dry myself off with a towel without going into a fit of itching. The solution, take 2 Benadryl 1hour before warm shower, pat dry with your wash cloth, moisturize well. Which probably was the start of my arthritis history. Anyone have any ideas?

Yes, medium warm works for me, i take epsom or no infusion to cleanse. I bath to cleanse the triggers off my skin if I mow or feel itchy.
