YES, definitely. I’ve shared many articles on the gut/skin axis. Slowly, very slowly, Science is helping doctors catch up to this home truth. What’s called Intestinal Dysbiosis is at the center of not only Psoriasis and PSA, but many other Autoimmune conditions.
Between 70 & 80% of our immune systems are located in our Intestinal tract, so what we eat and how we treat our gut is the best focus to improve your condition :)
Here’s an article from Dermatology Times, about a lecture from the annual dermatology symposium that focuses on this subject

It’s just taking too long to get this information into the arsenal of practicing doctors :(
The doctors that most of us see are “prescribers” instead of doctors who look at the whole picture. Lots more on this in my profile :)
PamelaNewton: I am wondering the same thing about your got answer yes. I have read many articles that say there is a correlation between the two.
Wait….I just got a diagnosis….is this why my guts hurt all of the time? I thought it was dairy sneaking into my diet. Is gut pain related to psoriasis?
Love a sorbet once in while. So yummy. I est small amounts to not feel the sugar rush. Enjoy
Cold and Hot foods and beverages are said to be worse for the gut in Psoriasis than those close to body temp or room temp.. sadly this excludes ice anything for me.
