My heart goes out to you. To me stress is the number one trigger. And it seems that you are going through a lot of stress. I think you should try to find let's say 15 minutes of your day to meditate and relax it would help you enormously. Being on here is also a great help to manage stress. It really helps to learn and find out about what other people are going through because of this terrible disease. I had to give up red meat because it exacerbates my irritable bowel syndrome which goes hand in hand with my psoriasis flare ups. Other than that I take the diet advice with a grain of salt. I don't think there is enough scientific research to connect diet with psoriasis. There is an association but from what I have been able to read on here much more research is needed so I pretty much eat almost whatever I want. The goal of course is a healthy heart diet. I make a lot of smoothies and I take a vitamin B complex as well as fish oil with my other medications every day.

Kat, I'm sorry I missed this yesterday. I wish you and your daughter well and prayers. Nothing worse than your child hurting, in danger, or simply struggling. I know.

Sorry you are struggling. I have both and additionally you which is a common combo. I do take a biological that has eliminated all the psoriasis and is really helping the PSA. The problem with PSA is that if you are not treating it the damage to you joints is not reversible so it is best to treat it. I have changed a few things in my diet that has helped. I have eliminated added sugar- if you read all the labels nothing with added sugar. I also only use Avocado oil or olive oil in cooking. Bread was the real issue I had so now I buy my bread at the German bakery all whole grain and no crap in it. I can’t go gluten free although some say that helps. The oils and the sugar have helped me a lot. And on the sugar I am eating all of the fruit that I like and you can use raw honey or pure maple syrup. Give it a try you don’t have to change everything and freak out. Try one thing at a time and then when you get that in a good place then so the next step. Good Luck!
