Managing foot pain related to psoriatic arthritis (PsA) can be challenging, especially when it affects other areas like the mid-back. Here are some strategies that might help:

- Comfortable Shoes: Ensure your shoes are the correct size, avoid high heels, and strike a balance between soft and supportive. Custom shoe inserts can also be beneficial. Consult a podiatrist for the right kind of inserts.
- Footwear Recommendations: Some people find relief with brands like Born shoes, Crocs, or Dr. Martens, which offer wide toe boxes and good support.
- Orthotics and Heel Pads: Custom orthotics and heel pads can provide additional cushioning and support.
- Compression Socks: These can help reduce swelling in the feet.
- Night Splints: These can prevent heel pain by keeping the foot at a 90-degree angle while sleeping, gently stretching the fascia.

For mid-back pain, consider consulting with your healthcare provider for personalized advice.

I had foot pain for years. Got orthotics , creams etc. nothing helped. Then diagnosed with PSA and Gout. I think the gout was the foot pain but not 100% sure as bothe got treated at the same time. Next time you get blood work as them to check your uric acid levels. Good luck!
