Does Anyone Experience More Skin Cancer While Using A Biologic?
I have been on Biologic since they came out. I am now battling skin cancer and keratosis.
Have you been on steroids alot? They let ot be known that prednisone causes cancer. Search it out, they have an attorney on it.
That's one of the newer ones I've seen advertised here. Thanks for the heads up on that. I'm still more old school and tend to look at dmards instead now especially but they all have some risk. Do you have any family history of skin cancer? That could place you at a higher risk of it in combination with what you're taking. Always be absolutely sure to check your side effects before starting a medication and what the likelihood of risk is if possible. Sorry to see that you have this going on. Skin cancer caught early can be treatable though, I'm not sure what the other condition is about. Not familiar with that. Which biologic are you on?
