Unlike traditional medications, biologics like Skyrizi require sophisticated manufacturing facilities and processes to produce these precise antibody treatments. They work differently than conventional drugs by targeting specific parts of the immune system. While the cost can be frustrating, it's worth noting that Skyrizi has shown significant effectiveness - it can be administered just four times per year and has demonstrated impressive results in clinical trials, with over 50% of patients seeing improvements in their symptoms. Many insurance plans cover Skyrizi, and the manufacturer often offers patient assistance programs to help make the medication more affordable.

I have already checked. My insurance does pay for it. Otherwise, I would never be able to pay for. I live on government assistance. I just think this is a ridiculous amount the company is charging for it.
