@A MyPsoriasisTeam Member, I hope it won't take years! On more than one occasion Ive asked my doctor to refer me to two specialists at the same time. They don't always have the same wait time, you might get an earlier appt. I usually end up seeing both then choose the one I prefer as they often have different perspectives and it's important to find one that works for you

PeterStein, if you set up the appointment it takes only a few months to see one. Typically. They are a little busy because there are so many conditions they can deal with but look for one within your insurance coverage and set it up. The longer you wait the worse your condition may get. I would say don't hesitate. I finally got a good one and I'm glad I got into them. It took me just a couple months.

Must be nice We get lucky if we even have one specialist in the city. We have to go to Calgary or Edmonton sometimes. I personally have gone to both places for different specialist.

Just keep an eye on it. You have psoriasis and it’s in your body. My doctor just referred me to a rheumatologist . Probably won’t do much, but it’s worth a shot! Now, I probably need to wait a couple of years to this specialist.
