Lowering hydroxychloroquine now on Cosentyx injection

Hi I have been on Hydroxychloroquine for over a year at 400 mg since I am now in Cosentyx inj I am going off the hydrox lowered to 200 mg first . I have only been at the lower dose for 5 days and I am having much more elevated pain . Has this happened to anyone? I’m thinking I need to speak with the dr and go back up on the dose . Any feedback would be beneficial

A few things worth keeping in mind: - Cosentyx can take several weeks to reach its full effect, so it may not yet be providing enough coverage to compensate for the reduced dose of the other medication
- Pain increases during a medication transition can sometimes be temporary, but 5 days in with elevated pain is worth flagging right away
- Your doctor may want to slow the taper, pause it, or adjust the plan based on how you're responding
