I have the same issue in the ears. I found using a liquid version of Fluocinonide 0.05% solution (prescription) works great. I apply it with a Q-tip.
That's hard to handle in a dry climate. I stick to the anti inflammatory foods list but eat red meat with no problem. It can get bad sometimes and I've been told it's Swimmers Ear from water that won't drain. So keep them dry but not too dry and moist but not wet. I have drops for swimmers ear.
Fluocinonide 0.5% drops. Had a small bottle prescribed by ENT, and dermatologist followed-up with a large bottle I use to refill. It helps, but sometimes the itch is maddening. My psoriasis seems to be mainly on my palms, and the soles of my feet, thank heavens.
I use hydrogen peroxide to clean the scales and also put a drop or two into the canal. Then after dry I moisturize just a bit with aloe. Hope this helps. 😊
I need to lie down on opposite ear till I feel drops go in
