I’m off Methotrexate! Was injecting because of history of gastrointestinal problems. Well it made my gastrointestinal problems return with a vengeance and I actually felt worse on the med than without it. Dr not to happy with me but I figure my body, my choice. Can’t see taking a med that makes me feel horrible every day.
Methotrexate for 5 years- After about 2 months in, and prior damage to my gut from 5 years of daily NSAIDS, my stomach couldn't handle the 8 pills I needed to take once a week. So, I have been injecting Methotrexate in my gut (subcutaneous), weekly for 5 years (: I can feel a bit of the nausea sometimes, but I have handled it way better by injection (:

The good news is that many people tolerate methotrexate well, particularly at the lower doses typically prescribed for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
