I have osteoarthritis in most of my joints and psoriatic arthritis in my feet and hands. I have less swelling all over and my neuropathy is just about gone in my feet.

That's wonderful to hear that you're experiencing less joint pain, itching, and swelling! Two weeks of noticeable improvement is genuinely encouraging, and it sounds like these supplements may be making a real difference for you.

Oregano oil does contain active compounds called terpenes — specifically thymol and carvacrol — which have shown anti-inflammatory properties in early research. Since psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis involve high levels of inflammation, it makes sense that something with anti-inflammatory effects might bring some relief. That said, there are a few important things to keep in mind:

- There are currently no large-scale clinical studies confirming oregano oil as a proven treatment for psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis
- Oregano oil may not be safe during an active flare-up
- It can interact with blood thinners and certain medications
- It's not recommended if you're pregnant or about to have surgery

It's really important to let your dermatologist or rheumatologist know what you're taking, so they can make sure these supplements are safe alongside any current treatments. Your positive results are worth sharing with your doctor!
