I do not have anywhere else on my body. I cover my ears with my hair but when I have a bad flare up, it looks like I have dandruff. I use medicated shampoo for my hair and Mometasone Furoate Cream for my ears. The cream works pretty well but have to use it once a week or so. The bad part is if I get water in my ears, I get a really bad ear infection. Just wondering if there is anyone out there that has the scalp psoriasis and how they deal.
Has anyone had the light therapy at the hospital? I have had 3 treatments and have already seen an improvement. How long did it take for your psoriasis to completely clear? Thanks guys :)
I have severe psoriasis on my scalp, and so far nothing has helped. I've tried medicated shampoo, and oil drops like betamethasone, but my scalp is still peeling off all over in huge thick chunks. It becomes very painful, sometimes bleeds or oozes, and "heals" with incredibly tight skin similar to feeling a swim cap suctioned and pulled back on your head. Such large (circumfrence and thickness) pieces come off with hair that I have bald spots accumulating particularly on the… read more

Appreciate any input or experiences etc on Otezla..
I used biofreeze for joint pain when I was on biologics. Now when I use it my joints feel like they are freezing and brittle. I can’t use lidocaine allergic to it and can only use Tylenol. What does everybody use for pain?
I have been on Humira for about 8 months. At the start it worked well, but for the past 2 months I have had flare ups. Has anyone else had the problem of a biologic that has stopped working? If so, what do you think caused it?
I'm seeing my Derm this week. I hope I can get some answers.
I apologize for repeating some previous posts, but it’s relevant for so many. I have had psoriasis for over ten years. I have been on three different… read more
I'm hoping to start swimming to get gentle exercise. My skin is looking clearer and to be honest I don't really care what people think about my skin now, just want to get on with getting better which exercise and endorphins can only help with. I'm too tired and weak to go running or to the gym so was thinking swimming would be my best bet but I'm worried that chlorine will irritate or cause my skin to flare and I don't want that when my skin is improving. If… read more
