Has Anyone Heard Whether Or Not Otezla Weakens The Effectiveness Of The COVID Vaccine?

Has Anyone Heard Whether Or Not Otezla Weakens The Effectiveness Of The COVID Vaccine?

It seems that taking NSAIDS is discouraged because of the possibility that they block the effectiveness of the COVID vaccine, so I wonder about Otezla since it, too, is taken to reduce inflammation.

A MyPsoriasisTeam Member said:

I also read not to take Tylenol before getting the vaccine. But I'd already take my morning 2 Tylenol arthritis for the first dose. I waited to take it… read more

Eye Issues Develop After Starting Skyrizi

Eye Issues Develop After Starting Skyrizi

Anyone on Skyrizi develop ANY kind of new eye issues or Vision changes after starting Skyrizi? If so, PLEASE comment and let me know what. There is a biologic that treats Ecezma (I probably spelled that wrong) Dermatitis which is a form of skin disease that does warn of eye issues as a possible side effect. I started getting psoriasis on my skin as well about a year ago. I have also tried many prescriptions, lotions for itchy skin and to keep my skin hydrated and moisturized. Ive bought a psoriasis treatment called prosoria. Everything I try on my skin works for a bit but then it feels like it has no effect. I recently started… read more

What Does Everyone Think About The Covid Vaccine? Do Those If Us With Auto Immune Get It?

What Does Everyone Think About The Covid Vaccine? Do Those If Us With Auto Immune Get It?

I keep hearing different opinions. One says no because the suppressed immune system won't respond the correct way, but others say yes we need the protection even if it's not as good a response.

Best Anti-inflammatory

Best Anti-inflammatory

I was wondering which anti-inflammatory has worked best for everyone. My fingers are always so swollen and the pain is bad. I do have RA also, but the swelling is just ridiculous and embarrassing. I used to wear a size 8 on my ring fingers, but now it would be about a THIRTEEN and that's no exaggeration. I use ice, Voltaren gel, and Etodolac. Etodolac is expensive this year and isn't working anyway. Any advice?

A MyPsoriasisTeam Member said:

Years ago when I was first diagnosed, my Ortho Dr prescribed Lodine or Etodolac & I've been on it ever since. It's an NSAID. I always say, Tylenol… read more
