I Have Psoriasis On My Scalp And My 4 Year Old Daughter Has JIA (psoriatic Arthritis) Did She Get This Because I Have Scalp Psoriasis?
@A MyPsoriasisTeam Member. Biologic are doctor prescribed medications, typically given by injection. Most are designed to supreme your immune system. Theost popular ones you generally give yourself your own injection. Speak to your dermatologist about options. They are very expensive if you do not have insurance, and even then, your insurance company may have a step therapy program you have to use.
He's right . I have 6 kids and 3 of them have it .. My daughter has both psoriasis on her body in different places and she told he feet keeps peeling too .. And sometimes her hands . That never happened to me but one of her brothers has the same .. She also said when she drinks alcohol she gets worse .. My son too but he is an alcoholic .. ( he doesn't learn ) my daughter also has psoriatic arthritis and my oldest son has that too .. They are both almost worse than me. :-(
I hate that it is genetic!!!
I wouldn't wish it on anyone !!!
I'm in good shape because of biologics. My son not so lucky , haven't found the right medicine and my daughter works too much to make time to go to the doctor and get on the biologics band wagon
