Cosentyx I believe works for different types of psoriasis. I have plaque psoriasis and after 12 years of trying multiple medications, it cleared all of my plaque psoriasis up within 5 months. Even when I stopped using it due to no insurance, I was clear for another 5 months before the spots started popping out! I restarted it once again and just started with the monthly dose since I am virtually clear from the previous Cosentyx treatment. I have not had any side effects except the great one of having my skin be clear for the first time in many, many years!

Hi Luay ...The Cosentyx is a biologic injection for psoriasis - not sure if it helps arthritis ..I have now been on it for over 12 months - to begin with it caused me many problems as I said in other comments but my specialist recommended i stay on it as it was helping the psoriasis and im glad i did - the other issues have settled down and now i also take 20 mg of metatrixate once a week and my psoriasis is very very well maintained. No side affects at all ...

Hi there I have been on Cosentyx for over 6 months now and it works great especially for my hands -i neally have full use back and before this i could hardly do anything using my hands - so very happy also my scallp is much better - not perfect but not alot of snow flaking ..yaaaa . The only area that it doesnt seem to fix is on my buttocks - nothing really works in this area - but im still happy and at this stage no side effects - definitely no cold sores.

I have had 1 injection of Cosentyx taking another today. So far no side effects. I also get cold sores. My dr put me on 2 tablets of Ortezla daily along with shot Cosentyx so far so good. Good Luck
