OK, so i had my visit with my doctor yesterday, i was sweating in the waiting room, like i was waiting to see the princinpal of school. i told her that i could not tolerate methotroxate any longer, as i had been on it for 6 years. Her jaw hit the ground, omg. When she saw my psoriasis all she could say was OMG!!!! i was crying because i was under so much stress about things going on in my life and the whole medicine saga. she was so understanding. so changed my meds to Enbrel, and gave me an anti- anxiety drug. So watch this space.

anti anxiety drug....omggg....
personally its better to stay away from dosage like ani anxiety drug or sleeping capsules or similar ones. they effect your mind and kidneys in future. there are few things that are there in our hands sucha as controlling our stress levels. you ccan opt for yoga or spending more time with your family or doing things what YOU LIKE. its most impt thing. once u begin to enjoy life then trust me posiasis cannot bother you. find passion, do wa u like and fall in ove with yourself,
these may seem to be dramatic but trust me it wil help out !1!!!!

i make myself busy in such a way that i wt even have thought of posiasis. i was never scared of my doc, i always considered dem as my friends coz during childhood most of my life went on spending more ime wid docs than my fellow sudents at school :D

Never stress yourself. Join organisations like "art of living" or isha foundation which will help you to find yourself.. :)

OMGG !!!
I dont know whether I am the right person to advice you. coming to my experience of 17yrs being with psoriasis wasnt small. I was made to were full hands swathes even during summer to hide the ugly patches on y skin during childhood. it use to remind me the fact that i am not normal like others. as i grew up i begin to take charge of my things. i started wearing what I LIKE ! & dat use to give me hapiness. i first accepted that psoriasis is going to stay with me forever. longest period of time when i took medication was 2 yrs. most of the time i took control on posiasis without medication. only when it was going heavy on my body i use to take course in order to reduce to a limit. the main thing i concentrated was to be happy in what i am. did you ever notice that posiasis is directly connnected to yor stress levels ?

Medicines for psoriasis is mainly of vitamins and these will make your health good. I didnt take my medicines for 2 years as i have discovered alternative source to keep psoriasis under control. I use regular tube if psoriasis goes heavy orelse not but i make sure that my mind is stable enough to be happy. regular exercise, fresh air, doing what you like may also lead to reduction in psoriasis. so,my doc was fine with me no taking medicines as my psoriasis was undercontrol.

You must have had good reason to stop it, but not always good to stop without talking to your Rheumatologist first.
