I have just finished having us light treatment the last couple of months and it worked very well but now I can start to feel my psoriasis coming back slowly in my palms and little bits on my body. My doctor told me to not use non medical sunbeds and only use the ones they provide but I was wondering if any one had used non medical sunbeds and if it helped! Thankyou
U can. Buy small UV lights for fairly cheap just in covienence to do parts of ur body.
Medical beds are better strictly uv light
But tanning beds do also work like said above
The tanning salon I go to has a red light therapy tanning bed (iRenew) which does not have any uv lights.
I go to the tanning salon a couple of times a week. Really helps clear up my skin.
I've been told the same but also tempted.
It seems most here suffer from Psoriasis, but I have no signs of that yet. I do have Psoriatic Arthiritis, which has affected almost every joint in my body. The dr. put me on sulfa drugs, but had a terrible reaction, and I have adverse reactions to many drugs. Hopefully the dr. will do some research to find the right thing for me. I have stairs in my home.....15 to be exact, and the sacrum, knees and achilles tendons are not going to allow me to use them too much longer. If you are sensitive to many meds., and know a drug that's been successful for you, please let me know. Thanks!!!
