I've tried the light treatment for my psoriasis but it didn't work. I think it may for people with very light skin issues...but not for the more worst. I've hand my hands cracked as well...it's terrible...cause they can't heal...and awful painful and embarrassing as well...it's a very underrated medical/social issue for sure.

Please do not use tanning salons thinking you're improving your psoriasis. They are not comparable to the UVB beds in hospitals. Not even close. Go get a referral, pay for the treatment anything, but use a tanning salon. I had UVB earlier this year on the worst psoriasis I've seen on myself and it completely went away. Previous attempts at self prescribing sun beds only made it worse android probably damaged my skin. Good luck everyone

Light therapy was the first treatment option I was offered but it just exacerbated my symptoms and overall made it worse.

I tried light treatment a long time ago..with not any results...it didn't hurt, but it didn't help....people say nowadays it's better though...but something tells me though it may look more fancier...the results will be the same...I think it's the same as getting a "Little" Sun...if you know what I mean.,..
