UV light therapy has always done me good. U can buy small uv light machines on line. Or even buy whole big unit.

Used to go to hospital years ago for 6mins and increased by 15sec once a week, usually by 2month would clear right up.

Also tanning beds have also helped me as well

Hi Linda
I have had my twenty sessions of light therapy but it has not worked as well for me. I was hoping that the laser might help but as you say its all about money.

I tried laser treatment and, sadly, it did not work. It was a bummer because I had to pay for it and they kept saying "try another few weeks" (so of course I think they just wanted the money). I do, however, recommend light therapy. It worked for me!

If you are referring to Xtrac treatment , then yes, I have tried it and I saw NO improvement what so ever, but in saying that - I do not benefit from sun light ,in fact sunlight actually irritates my psoriasis.

I did salt water and the sun for the summer, then in the winter we made trips to the ocean bottling the water and then using the "sun" lamp. Timing is very important! I have been cleared up for 35 years or more. Mom use to wrap me up at bedtime with mittens and socks once slathered with Vaseline. She used a "flea" comb to go through my hair after rubbing in stinky stuff. I have PsA now.
