Bruise Like Patches
HI everyone,
I have suffered from Psoriasis for over 10+ years now, but the last year I have developed patches on my legs mostly that look like bruises one in particular is large but does not have scaly skin and is not itchy it just looks terrible! My GP put it down to psoriasis or ezcema but could it be related to diabetes as I am type 2.
Any advice would be super helpful if you have any to clear it up?

thank you for your help :) I've had it since at least half way thru last year so 12 months now.
I have been suggested to try a dermaroller!
I had something similar a few months ago. I had a small bruise on my hip, but didn't think anything of it. A few days later I had so many they covered my stomach, backside, and thighs. No raised areas or rash, just bruised looking spots all over varying from dime-sized to golf ball-sized or bigger.
I saw two doctors for it, and they determined it was a common issue for some people that have auto-immune diseases. Sadly, I can't remember the name of it, nor can I find the paperwork. They said it would disappear on it's own in a couple weeks, and it did.
I don't know if you have the same thing, and I'm sorry I can't remember the name of it. I hope you get it sorted out soon.
thank you Cathryn, I'll ask my diabetes nurse next time I see her. They don't peel and arn't itchy just rather icky looking
