I was suffering for psoriasis for the last seven years. I was on Methotrexate for two years. It helped. I was cleared almost 80%, but then when I stopped taking it because flares up came back again, the doctor recommended me the biologicals.
Need to point out that during the time I was taking Methotrexate, I used a topical steroid cream to help the relief.
I didn’t want to go the route of biologicals, so I decided to do my all research.
Once I stopped taking Methotrexate flare ups spread to parts of my body I haven’t had psoriasis before (I only had it on my lower legs and elbows). I got flare ups on my tights and chest. Plus, due to the use of steroids my skin got very thin and I got bruises very easily. I was scared.
I started searching for natural treatments.
I found the book “Healing Psoriasis” by Dr. J. Pagano. I started following the diet, and sure enough after four months I was 98% clear without using any topical cream
or taking any pills or injections.
I recommend you guys to read the book and follow the diet. You have to take some teas to desintoxícate your body, but it is worth it.
The process is not easy, because once you start the diet you will have flare ups all over the place, but then, they will heal and disappear.
I’m clear two months now and happy as can be.
Give it a try. Psoriasis has to be cured from the inside out. We are what we eat. Good luck!

This is true. It is a lifelong thing. I've had it for over 10 years now. I to didn't want to take the injections for the rest of my life, but so far I have to if I want to have some kind of a normal life. Talk to your doctor about other things to take you never no until you ask. Hey check it out. Have a good one.

Biological injections can clear psoriasis but, it’s not a cure and yes it is a lifelong thing.
It is the only medical treatment that has given me any hope and has given me a chance to live a relatively normal life. I guess it all depends on how badly you are affected by psoriasis. All the best.
