Does Anyone Have Severe Psoriasis Of The Scalp And Also Losing Hair?

A few years back I developed silvery, white bumps on my scalp. Along with that, my hair comes out in clumps. I was hoping to find other people with the same or similiar problem.

Dr.John Pagano believed the gut had to be well in order to deal with our autoimmune system. I believe he had a GREAT theory to learn from.

Have scalp psoriasis and loss of hair. No bumps. Stopped sugar and went on dark green vegetables and berries. Got off night shades. Used over the counter shampoo with 3% salicylic acid and another one with 2.5% coal tar. After months of being faithful the hair stopped falling out scalp is better and new hair has come in. I have stayed faithful and been very fortunate to be stable by natural alternatives.

Please let me know if you find anything out. I read on a psoriasis blog somewhere that people swear by probiotics. I have a doctor in the family and says I should try it. The gut has a lot to do with it.

On my first visit to a dermatologist I said my hair is falling out and I'm turning into a lizard. It's a lot better now, hair still thin in places, but diet and exercise are crucial to the process.
