Otezla And Cosentyx

Otezla And Cosentyx

I have been on otezla since the last of March or April. I went to see my dermatologist today, and she didnt' like the results from the otezla, so she wants me to try Cosentyx. Wondering if that will work any better? And, anything I should be careful about?

I was on Cosentyx for a year. I did notice that I had excoriation (cracked and bleeding) inside both notstrils that was ongoing and didn't heal. It is written that "rhinitis" is one of the side effects. I also developed a sty along my lower lid of one eye which took a while to heal. Of course chest infections can be something as well because of the weakened immune system. These things may not happen to you and hopefully not. The potential side effects will be written on the accompanying information sheet. Good luck! I'm on Tremfya now and it's working really well for me, so if Cosentyx doesn't do well for you, mention this medication to the Doctor.

I was originally on Otezla and it made me sick and gave me migraines. Rheumatologist switched me to Cosentyx. Took one injection once a week and am supposed to now follow up with once a month maintenance injections. My symptoms are severely worse. My follow up isn't until the 31st of this month. I can barely get around now. Hope I can hold out for another couple weeks.

I have a sty now and wasn't sure why it's taking so long to heal.

I have totally had this inside my nose and have a sty on my eye, I had no idea it could be related to the Cosentyx.
