Has anyone dealt with psoriasis in their mouth and on the lips? What treatments helped?

I am using Carmex lip balm by the bucketloads. I also have it on my tongue though, and don’t quite know how to deal with it. I was diagnosed incorrectly twice, then I figured out on my own what it is. I have a history of psoriasis that’s moved around to nearly all parts of my body at one time or another. This has been miserable.

Hi Lucinda, I have it on my lip, it burns a lot and replaces skin every day, sometimes twice. I use either aloe vera or Paw paw, just trying different things to see what works for me.

Stay away from Listerine. From now on gargle with cocount oil and lukewarm water even if it does not make you smell minty fresh. You want to rehydrate inside your mouth again. Listerine will dry up your mouth and you can get psoriasis in it. Lips try (jar only Cetaphil) lightly on lips.
