How does psoriasis affect the immune system

I thought that’s what it meant until I did research. Evidently the way it effects the body is when I get sick, it attacks my skin cells.

Yes and they call it an autoimmune disease but they say it starts in the gut. Terribly confusing isn’t it. Take care

Yes and actually I’m not sure but maybe it’s caused from the immune system. Your immunities are lower because of it.

As I understand it, it is an auto-immune disease so essentially- I make me sick! My immune system is overactive and reacts to non-threats as if they were life threatening. And the reaction is warped to begin with so of no positive value at all.
