How long can you take methotrexate?

I'm 73, 6'3", 250 lbs and take nine pills once a week with no side effects. Been taking methotrexate for 16 months.

I had taken this medication for approx. 2 years with good results before it backfired on me. Everyone is different...please monitor your blood work carefully....
