I agree, try to stop blow drying. Also keep showers warm not hot and try to not wash your hair everyday. Aloe Vera gel plus neem oil and the wonderful ingredients moniher2000 mentioned. It’s not easy but changing your diet can also be beneficial, but takes longer to see results. I hope you get relief soon

Maybe consider air drying your hair or changing your scalp care routine.

During my showers I wash my scalp with coal tar shampoo combined with raw organic honey and colliodial oats alongside a steroid (Fluocinolone). I let the shampoo sit for a few minutes. I use Jasons Biotion hair conditioner with hylauronic acid next (This acid is great for scalp care). I rub a homemade scalp treatment on my scalp along with my hair conditioner. I dont completely rinse my hair out before wrapping it up in a cotton t-shirt for 20 minutes or so. I go to sleep and let my hair air dry. The scalp treatment I make is made with combining colloidial oatmeal, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, tea trea oil, lavender oil and peppermint oil. Doing this once a day seems to helping out the most.

I agree, definitely no hot water, I keep it very lukewarm, to cool water. I use Derma-e shampoo and cond. plus mix my own oils of coconut oil, with a few drops of Rosemary, Lavendar and Cedarwood or Teatree oil. put a few drops on the problem areas and rub it in and leave it overnight, just make sure you shampoo your hair while it is dry, rub in shampoo then rinse, to get the oils out.
but when it gets too bad and driving me crazy, I do use a clobetasol solution that my dermatologist gave me. the mix above from Moniher does sound really good! I am actually finding lately that my scalp itches less when I wear it up in a high ponytail, or a messy bun on top of my head. hmmm.....I do have long hair so maybe the weight bothers the psoriasis?
