My Rheum Is Recommending Inflectra Infusion. Anyone Been On This? Side Effects? Effectiveness? Thx!

I was diagnosed w/psa 2 yrs ago. Was on Humira for about 6 months but had to stop due to liver damage. Managed pain w/anti-inflammatory diet and exercise since August but now have a flare up. Both flares I had previously could be tied back to a trigger (Prilosec first time; vaccine second time). This is first flare w/o a known cause. I have used Enbrel for 20 years and it has cleared up my psoriasis and eliminated painful joints from Psa. I do the injections weekly myself and the medication is mailed to me so almost no time involved. I hope this helps...

I am not familiar with this infusion. I really hope you are able to tolerate this or your Doc finds something else that will help you. I would make a list of all concerns and questions and discuss them with your Doctor before the infusion. You are wise to be concerned about side effects and or drug interactions and it’s best to be prepared. Gone are the days when we blindly follow the physician without asking any questions and just assuming they have all bases covered. You know your body and your history…
Prayers for great sucess.
