Remicade let me walk again after six months not knowing from day to day but has a high incident of developing tolerance for this IV medication. I did better when they allowed chemo a week later to suppress rejection. However, more of concern is the rate of allergic reactions ranging from bad to anaphylactic. Never accept this treatment without qualified healthcare in attendance. That said, wonderful drug!

Yes I used it with good progress until I lost my insurance. No bad effects

Haha! We all need a little comedy in our lives! Hehe….thanks for the input. So nice to hear about different experiences when it comes to dealing with all of this. Although I’ve never had Ativan sounds entertaining!!😜

Don't know if anyone still does this but originally put me on light dose of chemo a week after Remicade IV to slow rejection rate and it seems to have worked. Had to take tiny dose of Ativan to sit in the chair for chemo and learned that I like Ativan wwaayyy too much to let them Rx that ever again! I got too relaxed- walked around center dragging IV pole and starting other people's IV's for them, telling jokes to anyone who would listen (captive audiences are soo much fun) and welcoming them at the door with different voices like Elvis, the undertaker, the evangelist, etc- used to do 16 different characters...😄

Thanks for the insight. I’m actually still waiting for approval from my insurance. Will definitely keep all that in mind when I finally get started
