Members shared a wide variety of creams and treatments for plaque psoriasis itching and redness, ranging from prescription options to over-the-counter and natural remedies. Several members recommended prescription steroid treatments like Enstilar foam, clobetasol propionate, and Dovobet gel, noting strong results in reducing plaques and itching, while others found relief with natural options like coconut oil, Psoriasis Honey, and Grandpa's Tar Soap. A recurring theme was the frustration of navigating insurance coverage and finding supportive doctors, with many members encouraging each other to advocate for themselves to get the care they need.

Have a good CBD base ointment that can help and always like Gold Bond super-duper healing cream- yep, can't remember the right name right now!

Enstilar foam has been helpful for me, just bear in mind it's a very strong steroid.

What I love about Betsy's answer is that she was silling to fight the insurance to get it approved. We have to research our meds and fight for coverage because bean counters who nothing of medication are ruining healthcare and they have to be confronted at every turn or they begin to believe they know more than your doctors.
