Had 4 teeth pulled on Friday and was put on amoxacillian for 10 days. Would antibiotics make psoriasis worse than you had b4. I'm so tired of this being all over my hands and hurting. Please help...
Well, antibiotics can kill needed gut bacteria. My flare up in December followed taking amoxcillin for a tooth infection, so I am entertaining a cleanse and fast and taking probiotics. Steroids no longer help it seems

I remembered another resource which is EHealthMe
If you search this site for any drug and condition it will give you the information it has where they overlap.
In this case, amoxicillin and psoriasis.
Based on actual studies and also patient reports, so this seems very helpful with any medication :)
You can even click on the list of over 2000 drugs they associate with reports regarding psoriasis.
https://www.ehealthme.com/ds/amoxicillin/psoria...
You can always search the site we’re on here by using the magnifying glass up at the top to see if Amoxicillin has already been discussed in the past. If you don’t see the magnifying glass, click around through the tabs up top our click thru the options shown under the gray bars and watch the right corner of your screen until the search bar shows up.
Looking at older, past threads that have already accumulated answers, reading others Questions and Site sponsored articles can help you find information much quicker than waiting for answers from other members in real time.
You can also always look at sites that list side effects and user reviews of specific meds like Drugs.com or WebMD
Here’s an old thread about Pso and Amoxicillin from another P forum called Inspire
https://www.inspire.com/groups/psoriasis-commun...
Hope this helps :)
Remember, mucous membranes like your mouth and nose heal much faster than most other parts of your body!
