I was recently diagnosed with scalp psoriasis on my left side. I am using special shampoo. I am wondering if anyone has any "tricks" to help with the itch. Thank you.

I have tried almost everything for my scalp psoriasis. The only thing that has helped me to minimize the itching, inflammation and scaling was the clobetasol solution in conjunction with special shampoo and conditioner.

You could put coconut oil on at night cover with a shower cap or Saran Wrap. Leave on overnight and wash out in the morning. If you can’t use coconut oil then you can choose one that won’t irritate you.

Liquid Clobetasol is the only thing that works for me.

I find Flexitol shampoo&conditioner with Flexitol serum helpful with the itching. I used it twice a day but it can be used three times a day. It didn’t clear my psoriasis of course, and I have to take Betamethasone lotion to actually keep the psoriasis in check but the Flexitol shampoo and serum help keep the skin moisturized and itch free.
