Canton, TX

For me I am noticing that I am having a strange sense of fear getting into my shower. I think I'm afraid of the water but I can't imagine why. I suppose it could be that I'm afraid I will slip and fall or putting my legs up over the bathtub to get in my shower. I still believe I'm afraid of the water but I don't know why I would be. I've always loved my showers.

Yes I was in start of this psa because the dryness of skin and that cracks on my body. Thanks God those days were horrible for me. It took me 3 4 hours with bath and applying ointment. And about 5 to 6 years I never get sleep because of scales and dryness. Yes chlorine and alum triggers the psa. It's my personal experience.

Gerri,Check the ingredients in the powder. Make sure it's not creating another issue later on.
Have you read about Inverse psoriasis? It's very painful and is specific to skin folds.

I think for me the perfect set up would be a walk-in shower with a seat in it.

Robina...my wound nurse has taken me off of several topical to where now when I step out from the shower, I dry off everywhere even folds. After I'm done I use a hand towel and put it up under folds and I use a hot hair dryer to get every little piece of moisture and water off me. Or if I don't use the hand towel I set my dryer on Cool to finish drying. Then I use Eazzorb powder and make sure I rub in the powder. It is shocking that it removes the itcn and open plaques heal that was so painful. He told me that if I feel a lot of dryness to use a thin strip of barrier or nystatin......it is working good.
