How do YOU fight fatigue?

I've only recently been experiencing extreme fatigue - no matter how long I sleep, I don't feel rested. I want to take a nap 2-4 hours into every day. I rarely go without a nap.

Also, has anyone had any luck trying RXs for fatigue? My bestie has MS and swears by her Provigil. My doc has offered to discuss it with me if I keep a sleep log and haven't noticed the fatigue lifting, so long as my blood pressure is kept under control. I really don't see myself… read more

I've got fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and Type 1 diabetes that all affect how tired I get so I completely understand how you feel hun 😔 how long have you been like this for and have you had any bloods taken yet? There's always something causing it so definitely get some further investigations 🙏

As for fighting fatigue, don't hun lol honestly your body is telling you you've burnt out and needs rest. As frustrating as it can be, listen to what your mind and body need 🥰 it helps when you let go of control for a bit 🫶 good luck, keep us updated! X

@StephaineBrenner, Unfortunately, it is part of this horrible disease! I suffer chronic fatigue and also sleepless nights. I would rather be awake until I get so sleepy that it is hard for me to stay awake. Then at that point, I can fall asleep. However, I cannot nap during the daytime. I sent you another post, I hope you are still healing with the hand. Take care😇

I'd say since catching Covid in Oct/Nov I noticed a big change, noticed my blood pressure being normal affects how much energy I have (it's been high for a very long time, like 20+years), and saw caffeine not affect me the way it use to. But since recovering from surgery, I've been especially tired.
I've never done well without a decent night's rest, but even that doesn't seem to help much the last couple weeks.
Suppose it just does need rest :)
