Yes, psoriatic arthritis can indeed cause nail changes, including the loss of fingernails and toenails. This condition often affects the nails, leading to symptoms like pitting, ridging, and sometimes the loss of nails. These changes can be painful, especially when they affect the hands and feet.

For managing these symptoms, treatments may include topical treatments, light therapy, and in some cases, systemic medications prescribed by a healthcare provider. It's also helpful to practice good nail care, avoiding injury to the nails, and keeping them trimmed and clean. If nail symptoms are severe or causing significant pain, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional for a tailored treatment plan.

Rheumatologist doesn't seem bothered by nail loss no help offered. Dermatology are the same. So painful and debilitating but no treatment offered just methotrexate.
